Third Coast Literary IMPRINTS

 

 

To pitch your project to our acquisitions team for any of our imprints, please submit your package through the imprint submission form.

​

Please ensure your submission packet meets & includes the following criteria:​

​

  1. Query Letter: Title, genre, word count, if this a standalone novel or part of a series. A 1-2 sentence tagline that captures central conflict. A 2-3 paragraph summary. 2-3 comparative titles. Author Bio. â€‹

  2. Synopsis: A 1-2 page, single-spaced document that summarizes the entire plot, including all spoilers and the ending.  â€‹â€‹

  3. Sample: The first three chapters or the first 50 pages of your manuscript. Use 12pt Times New Roman, double spaced, 1-inch margins, and page numbers.

Third Coast Literary Press will publish all accepted manuscripts under the most fitting imprint to ensure market consistency and recognition.

 

(Our Book of the Year winners will likely fall under one of our two upmarket imprints: Azure & Gold or Black Fly. Submissions directly to imprints do not qualify for our BOTY contest. However, submissions for our BOTY contest, even if not selected as a finalist, may be published through one of our imprints. If you'd like your manuscript to be considered for the Book of the Year contest and award, please follow the contest submission guidelines here.)

 

​​Submissions to our standard imprints below are always free. We offer traditional publishing contracts with advances and royalties and do not charge any author fees.
