Melanie Hooyenga

Multi-award winning young adult author Melanie Hooyenga writes about strong girls who learn to navigate life despite its challenges. She first started writing as a teenager and finds she still relates best to that age group.

The Quiet Unraveling of Eve Ellaway is her tenth novel.

Angela K. Berent

Local author & Skeleton Series Instructor (Act 3)

Angela K. Berent took the concept of writing lists and used that to launch two self-guided journals. The idea she used to help her middle-school students find success went on to become the way she curated her memoirs.  She shares that simple technique with her readers in List Your Life: A Modern-Day Memoir and Trace Your Travels: An Adventure Journal.  Angela lives in a little house on a quiet lake outside of Ann Arbor, Michigan.
